I’ve stayed at Handley Farm many times, and each time I’m greeted with the most amazing family who run it. Nicky, Richard and grace are the perfect hosts and make you feel so welcome from the minute you arrive. Nothing you ask for is too much trouble! The cider barn brings a home from home feel with exceptional luxury. The barn is spotless, and the views are sensational. If you’re looking to get away for a relaxing few days, to unwind and relax then I can’t recommend Handley Farm enough! It’s everything I want and more! Holidayed at the Cider Barn for a week, even though the weather was rather wet at times, we still had a great time. There was plenty of room for everyone (4 adults, 1 baby and a dog). The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook and it was nice to be able to all sit together on the large sofa and watch TV. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Our dog liked the enclosed garden and we loved the hot tub which was large and welcoming on a cold winters night. The views from the Cider Barn of the surrounding countryside are wonderful. Stayed in the Cider barn for 3 nights with a friend and 3 dogs and had a lovely relaxing break. Superb accommodation, fantastic hot tub and lovely garden for the dogs and great location for walks etc. Second time visiting and we will definitely be back.

Stayed at the Cider Barn with family of 5 and it was lovely. The hot tub was clean and the kids loved it. Beds comfy, great shower and bath and lots of indoor room. Eating out on the decking was such a treat with a beautiful apple tree framing the gorgeous view. The garden was private. We felt Nicky & Richard were always around when we needed them and made our stay so much better, very generous hosts! We had little Polly the dog visit our garden much to the delight of our kiddies. Just nice to walk around the farm with the little ones and enjoy the amazing view from the top of the hill, can see for miles into Exmoor.

What a beautiful building, location and setting to stay in. My friends and I stayed there for a long weekend in the cider barn. It is such a tranquil place to stay, so quiet at night. The rooms are beautifully done with all the comforts that you can think of. The Cider barn is so lovely and private, with a beautifully planned garden. Nicola the host was lovely and very friendly and helpful. We saw the goats, puppies and horses. We even had a doggy visitor, little Polly, who was  enjoying us lavish our attention on her. This was our third annual return to Handleys farm. We all had a fantastic break away.Cottages are faultless and beds are super comfy. Just back from the most tranquil and comfortable break we have been on in a long while. The farm setting was so peaceful, our hosts were so amenable and helpful and the facilities and lodge just perfect and spacious, so well appointed! The hot tub is superb … super well looked after and in an ideal private setting with beautiful views of the pastures. It is so evident that Richard and Nicky are passionate farmers and hosts and that too made our experience incredible! Simply loved the beautiful serene lake fully stocked with carp … fun feeding times 😁 Being able to walk freely around the animal enclosures with our little doggy and seeing the goats, chickens, sheep and beautiful just an added bonus . We just had a fantastic relaxing long bank holiday weekend in the Cider Barn. We booked it as a surprise joint birthday and Nicky was brilliant in dressing the barn with birthday decorations and helping us to sort a cake that was there waiting for us! That’s going above and beyond and we’re so grateful, thank you! Nicky had recommended a place to eat, the Swan in Bampton and it was divine so she knows good food too!! The barn was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, the bbq was clean and there was charcoal and firelighters. It was dog friendly and the garden was secure. We had a really lovely time, topped off with being able to feed the sheep and goats. I cannot recommend Handley Farm enough.
