We are only a short drive (10 minutes) from Bampton or Wiveliscombe which have good shopping facilities (open till late), Post Office, Garage, etc. Taunton, the county town is approx 35 minutes drive and there is a bus route passing the entrance to Handley Farm.

Handley Coarse Fishing Lakes

Our coarse fishing lakes are well-stocked with 5lb plus Mirror and Common Carp, Roach, Tench and Bream. They are only for the use of our residents and can be used all year round. When exploring this tranquil spot, you may be joined by a shy roe deer, kingfisher, woodpecker, heron, rabbit or a fox. Children must always be accompanied by an adult. No ground bait, only live maggots or casters, sweetcorn, bread or floating bait . Fishing rods are available for hire at no charge and bait available.
